Ever since I created my best ever paleo pancakes (back in March of 2014) you guys have been asking me for a nut-free option, and here it is! These gluten-free, dairy-free, nut-free, paleo pancakes taste almost identical to my original pancakes! They’re just as fluffy and delicious! I can’t wait for you to make them!
I make these pancakes and much more with ingredients from Nuts.com (they have way more than just nuts!). Their prices are fabulous, and they’re the most trusted company by my fellow celiacs!

Nut-Free Best Ever Paleo Pancakes
1 cup coconut milk
1/3 cup water
5 large eggs
3/4 cup coconut flour
3/4 cup arrowroot or tapioca flour
2 tablespoons organic coconut oil
2 tablespoons honey
1 teaspoon baking soda
Note: I’ve omitted the vinegar from the original recipe. I don’t think it’s necessary 🙂
- Briefly puree all of the ingredients in the blender. Add a splash of water if needed to thin. The batter should be almost too thick to pour.
- Add some coconut oil to a 12 inch skillet pre-heated over low to medium heat.
- Drop the batter into 4 small pancakes in the pan. Swirl the batter out with the back of a spoon to make the pancakes larger. Each pancake should be 4 inches wide when spread.
- Cook each side until the pancake is cooked through.

Can’t do eggs. Would love an AIP one. I’ve tried several and haven’t found a good one. Thanks.

These are the best pancakes I’ve had since going Paleo. Even my husband loved them. I made them up and cooked them over a fire during a camping trip and it was so awesome to have that bit of normalcy to eat pancakes for breakfast with everyone else. Thanks!
